About Me

I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from Spalding University in Louisville, KY, where I began my specialization in the treatment and research of obsessive-compulsive disorder under the direct training and supervision of renowned OCD expert, Dr. Monnica Williams.  I then completed my APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship training working with veterans at the Hudson Valley VA in Westchester County, New York.  At the VA, I completed clinical rotations in the acute psychiatric inpatient unit, the residential PTSD unit, and in neuropsychology.  After receiving my doctorate, I completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at The Reeds Center in New York, NY, where I delivered weekly and intensive evidence-based treatment for OCD, anxiety, and anxiety related disorders.

I have presented and published about topics related to OCD and sexual health, OCD and relationships, and the treatment of sexual obsessions. For my doctoral dissertation, I examined the sexual health of individuals diagnosed with OCD and the impact of ERP on sexual functioning. I am a member of the International OCD Foundation.
